Navzilla is a powerful and affordable moving map
for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
Navzilla is designed to run on iPAQ, Axim and other Pocket PC PDAs as well as desktop and laptop computers.
The Navzilla map displays airports, airspace boundaries (class B, C and D), VORs, NDBs, airways, special use airspace,
reporting points, intersections, towers, shorelines, lakes, rivers, cities, highways and color terrain.
Navzilla includes support for graphical Temporary Flight Restrictions.
The Navzilla map screen can be displayed in either track-up or North-up mode. Select the large font option for easier viewing or the small font option for a less
crowded screen. Actual runways and runway extensions are displayed when the range is set to 10nm or closer. The map screen has
an intuitive drill-down interface to find nearby navigation items. Quickly look up frequencies, tower operation hours, elevation
information, most recent METAR
observation, navaid remarks and more.
Defining your own routes and waypoints is easy -- select navaids and airports from the database or enter your own.
The route information screen shows distance and magnetic heading between waypoints. You can also move defined routes between your desktop computer and PDA.
The format of navigation information is easily configured to enhance readability using the view manager screen.
With Navzilla it is possible to display heading and distance information for multiple waypoints simultaneously.
